The Awasi Iguazu is set in a private reserve on the Argentine side of Iguazu Falls, the perfect base for experiencing the world’s largest waterfalls in all their splendor. Built on stilts to minimize the environmental impact and with a design that seamlessly blends into its surroundings, the 14 villas are spread out throughout the property and perfectly positioned for utmost privacy yet within easy distance of the main lodge. • Considering the flight schedules, we recommend spending at least 3 nights at this property, the only one on both sides of the falls (the Argentine and Brazilian side) that offers specifically designed excursions that go beyond the famous waterfalls.
• For the classic visit to the Argentine side, only a day tour is required to cover the upper and lower circuit. A 3-night stay at Awasi allows for discovering the region’s best-preserved area of jungle, crossing through the Iguazu National Park on the beautiful national road No. 101 until you reach the Awasi Yacuí Reserve.
• Extremely rare species such as Rosewood Trees, Palm Heart Trees and primitive tree ferns can be spotted here.
• At the Yacuí creek, guests can take kayaks out on the water or simply enjoy a moment of rest and contemplation on the shore.
