The Delfin III is the third Amazon river cruise operated by 'Delfin Amazon Cruises' - the first cruise company to join the renowned Relais & Chateaux collection. Built in 2015, the Delfin III is the biggest of the fleet with 22 suites.
The vessel features hardwood floors, designer furniture, and is dotted with local art. There is one large Owner’s Suite (55 m2 or 597 ft2) located in the front of the ship on the upper deck. Additionally, there are 10 Upper Suites (23 m2 or 252 ft2) on the upper deck and 2 Corner Suites (23 m2 or 252 ft2) in the front of the ship on the main deck. Finally, there are 9 Suites (22 m2 or 236 ft2) on the main deck. All suites include deluxe beds with fine Peruvian linens, organic bath amenities, individual climate control, and a seating area. The Owner and Corner Suites also feature one complimentary 30-minute spa treatment per guest, a stocked minibar, and complimentary laundry (10 pieces per guest). Guests of the Owner's Suites can enjoy a scented bath upon request.
Wall to wall windows in your cabin keeps you visually and atmospherically connected to the surrounding Amazon environment and you may even spot different wildlife from the comfort of your suite. Facilities on the top observation deck include the indoor and outdoor lounges, a sundeck with plunge pool, spa, exercise room, and full bar.
Some of the activities on offer during your stay: trail walks, kayaking, SUP (stand-up-paddling), piranha fishing, canopy walking, pink dolphin observation, night safari, and visits to local communities and an animal rescue center in Iquitos.
The culinary arts have always been a centerpiece of the Delfin Cruise experience and Delfin III is no exception.  You will experience some famed Peruvian cuisine as well as Western favorites prepared by expert culinary staff that have mastered the art of plating with locally sourced ingredients.
