There is no number on the door or a large gate for that matter, only a small fence hidden in the bushes that will transport you into this magical world of the private conservation area of Milpuj. Built from stone and perfectly camouflaged between the natural vegetation the 4-room guesthouse is where you will enjoy the friendly hospitality of the owners Mrs. Lola and her son Perico. It allows you to get in touch with nature and wildlife and understand the beauty that surrounds you.
But Milpuj has too a privileged location. It lies just 30-minute drive from the cable car station to Kuelap
The main aim of the owners is to completely reforest the area. The house is completely disconnected from society, has no TV and no access to electricity (only generator). Mrs. Lola and Perico are always willing to show their forest, where they have a botanical garden, an apiary, a garden center and part of an ancient Inca Trail leading to Chachapoyas.
