The hotel itself is set in the main town of Hanga Roa, directly on the shoreline looking out on the expansive Pacific Ocean and is the most centrally located luxury hotel on the island with a short three-block stroll to the nearest restaurants, bars, art galleries and souvenir shops that make up the majority of the town.

If you have already taken a look at some of the archeological sites around the island, you may notice that the same grass-covered almost cavelike houses of the Rapa Nui people has a striking similarity to the hotels huts, and that is because this eco-hotel has been fashioned in such a way to complement its surroundings while staying true to its roots. Each of the huts/rooms has ample space with a stunning ocean view and all of the usual amenities that you might expect from a home away from home, complete with a free minibar, coffee machine and french styled doors that open up onto a private terrace. The wooden pillars throughout the property give it a somewhat rustic feel, with the whitewashed walls and minimalistic décor adding to the modern yet warm feel of the entire hotel.
