The Singular Patagonia is a national historic monument fashioned from a 1915 cold-storage plant and considered to be one of Chile’s top luxury hotels. Traverse the intact machine rooms and tannery facilities as you make your way to your room or to dinner in this unique and stunning piece of living history. This hotel perfectly merges past and present in one of the world’s last untouched corners, just outside of Puerto Natales, the gateway to Torres del Paine National Park. You will be able to enjoy simple luxury as you gaze upon the shore of Last Hope Sound from the comfort of your room through the panoramic glass windows.
We spent two nights at the property with a 5-year-old child. He still remembers the unique pathway from our room to the dining room, passing by the museum with 'fancy' machines from the past, as well as his first time on a horse being guided by a Patagonian cowboy (huaso).
