Despite its brief history, Puerto Natales has played a significant role as a starting point for exploring the maze of channels, inlets, and fjords in the region. Its cultural richness is a result of the fusion of various European and indigenous cultures, including the Kawesqar and Tehuelche, making it a truly unique destination. Upon meeting with your guide near the Plaza de Armas, you will stroll through Puerto Natales visiting the most iconic places while admiring the coast of the Señoret channel and the surrounding mountains, as well as spotting local birds. You will pay a special visit to La Casa del Autoctonito, a store that sells handcrafted art pieces with a fascinating story behind them, as well as other small shops that sell local products and souvenirs. You will also enjoy a delicious hot chocolate or homemade ice cream during your walking tour.

Continue towards the Torres del Paine National Park, past turquoise lagoons and mountain ranges to the Grey Outcrop, where you will get to see the Grey Glacier, Paine Massif, and Toro Lake if the weather is favorable. A few miles away you can spot the iconic ‘Cuernos del Paine’ (Horns of Paine) in the distance.

From there, you'll head towards the valley and cross an old suspension bridge over the Ascencio River. Zigzag along the marked path as you ascend toward the foot of the moraine, where you'll have an incredible opportunity to enjoy a unique viewpoint of the icy glacier.
