It’s time to get your grub on and your hands dirty during this Peruvian cooking class. Your exciting experience will take place at 'La Victoria Picanteria' in Arequipa's historic center with an insight into the 500-year-old gastronomic legacy of 'picanterias' in Arequipa.
You start with a visit to San Camilo market, where you will visit 5 varieties of local food stands: breads, fruits, vegetables, potatoes, and sweets. Take the chance to learn (and taste) as much as you can about the local produce. Ready to start cooking? Head to the stoves at ‘La Victoria’ where you will prepare your own local dish under the guidance of expert chef Roger Falcon. All your hard work is rewarded with taking a seat and enjoying your delicious creation.
You will be picked up by your guide from your hotel in Arequipa (by foot).
